Loved the cozy little balcony on the 6th floor—perfect for morning coffee! The vicinity is a culinary treasure trove with nearby gems like Rose Bakery and Maison Landemaine Martyrs for delightful pastries and fresh bites.
The room was a squeeze for our family of four, and navigating the narrow elevator wasn’t easy.

I almost gave this lovely place a good review, but the moldy smell was quite charming, defintely added ambiance. The tiny elevator was just sooo spacious for my luggage. After all this, I expected at least a welcome gift for suffering through the sewer-like bathroom. Such a miss, really disappointed in their lack of attention.

This will save you time and money
A fantastic place to stay! Perfectly located with a 15-minute walk to the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre, and abundant cafes nearby. Our room had a cozy street view and was compact yet comfortable. Staff were friendly and the elevator was tiny but functional. Ideal for budget-friendly adventurers! Can't wait for my next visit.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Clauzel Paris! The location on rue des Martyrs was wonderful, filled with charming bakeries and boutiques. My room was very clean and the comfortable bed made for a restful night's sleep. The staff kindly stored my luggage for several hours after checkout, allowing me to enjoy my last day in Paris.
Shower could be improved.

missingWrote a review on Sept 01small elevator
The elevator barely fits one suitcase and had a persistent awful smell on the third floor, likely from a neighboring room. Showers unexpectedly flooded the bathroom, creating a lake effect. this required turning the water on and off repeatedly. Walls lack soundproofing, leading to disturbances from rowdy neighbors partying late into the night. Breakfast, priced at 7 euros, was underwhelming with just bread and coffee, not worth the cost.

Had a lovely time enjoying the cozy twin room and relaxing at the terrace while sipping coffee. The hotel offered a great opportunity for unwinding in a quaint courtyard and keeping fit with a small gym. Just a heads up, the lift is really tiny and can be a bit of a squeeze! 😊

missingWrote a review on Jul 08great value for moneymisleading check-in times
The location is beautiful with many authentic French bakeries and brasseries nearby. The hotel provided great value for money, especially for travelers who plan to be out exploring all day. The bustling atmosphere was lively without being overwhelmed by tourists.
Check-in times were misleading as I was told the room wouldn't be ready until later than expected.

We stayed in the double room, and it was spacious enough for us and our bags. The bathroom was beautiful, and everything was really clean. Location-wise, we were close to shops and restaurants. The only downside was that the shower flooded, which was super annoying, but overall it was a comfortable stay.

Strongly recommend for budget-conscious travelers
We had a charming experience with our little rooftop balcony over the street, the view was simply stunning and made our mornings. Also, the staff offered to store our luggage after checkout, which let us enjoy our last day without dragging our bags all over the place.
It was on the pricier side for a budget place but still manageable.

Just a good match for a momentary visit in Paris with decent value for money. The location made it super easy to grab a quick breakfast at nearby bakeries. Be prepared for some noise from the streets at night.
